WHERE IS the ZONE? — Where do you write? — Look at the above photo.

This looks so dreamy, right?☝☝☝ Kinda whimsical! — Almost sexy. I would love to write there. A nice cup of OJ on ice, with a straw.

For the past 2 years, this used to be my zone folks!๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿฆฐ I was a huge MESS! — Just keeping it real. I was in a rut, and kinda quit giving a hoot! The good news is, ๐Ÿšš I moved and left the rut behind.

My new writing zone is much better.

Just moved into a new crib. — I will keep it this way. — Cross my heart!

And it has a sweet view.๐Ÿ‘‡

So where exactly do most writers, write?

Bars, coffee shops, museums, and even trains are all spaces in which successful writers have been able to get some serious work done. And, if you’re a freelancer, you also know the importance of getting out of the house every once in and while to feel like a semi-adjusted, social adult.

Okay, starting a list!

  1. I need to get out more. ☕ A coffee shop sounds kinda nice!

J.K. Rowling started writing the Harry Potter series in a cafรฉ.

The Elephant House in Edinburgh prides itself on housing J.K. Rowling in its early Potter-drafting days, keeping a small shrine of articles and photos from Rowling’s early days.

It’s no secret that the best place to write is in a cafรฉ,” Rowling says. “You don’t have to make your own coffee, and you don’t have to feel like you’re in solitary confinement.” If you find yourself in Edinburgh, there’s no better place to feel inspired than “The Birthplace of Harry Potter.”

Bethanie Garcia wrote a blog & it took off!

Her headline in People Magazine read: Teen Mom Goes from Relying on Food Stamps to Supporting Her Family of 7 Through Social Media Posts

“I’m just sharing my thoughts and emotions rawly as it’s happening,” Bethanie Garcia says of her journey on an upcoming episode Under the Influence with Jo Piazza

Blogger, Bethanie Garcia, used to let her hubby take care of the kids.

Bethany needed to focus on writing her blog.

When Bethanie Garcia first launched The Garcia Diaries in 2014.

She left the apartment every day to go to a communal room in their apartment complex, for peace and quiet, so she could write.

Autistic Widower (“AJ”) Pitched in with his cozy creation zone.

I could so easily curl up in that chair! — Yes, this is where all those fabulous stories were born. Some have made us laugh, and some, cry!

For example,

“Some of the Countless TV Shows I Have Watched Multiple Times”

Writing this felt like a memory test! — Warning: My mind felt chaotic when I wrote this!

Sweet

So who is this Jan Sebastian writer chick?

Video by Jan Sebastian, the author

I had a stroke so I am disabled and am kicking major ass.…well in some ways. I can’t walk or talk well but I’m a writing MO-FO! Kickin’ serious BUTT 100%!

This is my silly stroke therapy video. The focus on my face is hilarious! A crazy-ass redhead who is not at all normal and proud of it. I love people and love helping them. Unconventional seems right. Fearless and focused.
